Campestre La Marina Restaurant

Kokosnuss garnelen was good, had to ask for the dive. but a 150 pesos for a margarita was quite expensive! had flan for dessert. fantasy, but again....90 pesos for dessert made this 1 of the pricier meal in the city! our second visit, doubt that we go again.

We have fallen into the impact of the moment. great tasting, great selection. parking lot above the street. the speck wrapped filled garnels was to die.

We wanted to go to a new restaurant today and choose this. it was an excellent choice. we ordered the guacamole to start and it was fantastic with some of the best tortilla chips we had. the cocos yarn was very good. like the burritos and enchiladas. the servings were large and we had no room for the ceviche we will have the next time. juan manuel, also known as johnny brown was an excellent host and gave us good information about the extensive menu. he is proud of his restaurant and he should be. they are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with an breakfast buffet on Sunday for 125 pesos. they can bring their own wein for a 50 peso corkage fee. he also has a tequila that is my new favorite. we come back to this restaurant, which is with all major decisions in mazatlan positiw.

We went last night on a tipp from our neighbour and an evaluation in the local time. what a great place with johnny brown and his wife, maritza have already passed many paints before this restaurant and eaten there some years back. I didn't know it was under new ownership. johnny's history of living on the ranch brings his knowledge about the real taste of rural mexico. I ordered the filet of fish soaking that was perfect and my wife ordered the garnelen empanadas with cheese that she said had a great taste because the maismasa came for the empanadas directly from the ranch recipe. She said...Muy rica! also a order of kokos garnel that was perfect, very easy to bake. there is also a secret soße for the garnel that keeps jonny safe in his tresor. we had a great evening to talk to them, enjoying the environment and of course, eating. the menu is full of surprises, so we need to discover new aromes again. johnny has a buffet on Sunday morning, today Saturday, tomorrow for menu and other buffet surprises, will find us there. I recommend johnnys restaurant very for locals and for tourists who like genuine authentic food from the ranch.

Have driven past several times....so we finally stopped! So glad we did.simple menu. Good food. Nice staff!
