FRIENDS Diner - Mazatlán

We were here for supper I should have listen to the reviews here, the fish and chips are good for two people I ordered a set of ribs for an Appy. We could not finish it... The live band played alot of 60/70 music, did...a good job Phone and make a reservation Gets real busy..

The service is decent. I ordered fish tacos and forgot to make a picture. the fish was somewhat similar to a fishstock, the size of my smallest fingers, one per taco. Pay attention to one of the female Canasta players (which has five adult children, .from Canada, who always is an hurdle when it is their turn in canasta. Why in the world someone would drag to mexíco to hurry and overthrow others is beyond understanding.

Looking for a great taste of home, good that is the place to go. friendly service, good food and beautiful atmosphere.

We have been to friends diner (formerly the Saloon) a number of times. Food is good, usually have a live band in the evening and will tune into pretty much any sport you want on one of the many tv’s. They allow people to reserve...tables so plan ahead. Mostly Canadians and Americans in the Winter.

Opened by the former proprietors of The Saloon, this is a fun sometimes loud dining/show place with darn good food.We first came to Friends with a group of 15 or so to celebrate a birthday. The service was very good and acomodating.The food was unique and very good. Where else in Mazatlan can you get liver and onions smothered in onion gravy. Talk about deja vu all over again.. Many others in our group had diverse foods off the menu and everyone had good meals, not complaint to be found.Music can get a little loud if you want to have a long conversation, but all in all this is a fun place to dine and be entertained.They take reservations and go out of their way to make a memorable experience. Not fancy but very inviting and comfortable. The owners and staff went out of their way to make a memorable birthday experience.Highly recommend !!!
