Feedback gevenWe visited twice. We sat near the beach and were treated to a band and other patrons singing along. I had the Tuna Tostada and it was probably the best thing I ate in Mazatlan.
Excellent food and service. The shrimp tacos are great. We like them crispy. Weather good enough to sit outside.
This is the third winter that we have gone to La Corona. Our waiters Alberto "Gato" and Mario are always great and are happy to bring you anything from the menu. My husband and had three shrimp cocktails, an order of ribs, four orders of shrimp, an order of garlic fish (all with sides), two Pacifico and two Margaritas all for $259 pesos each! We will be back before we depart in March. We had a question about a monument that had gone up since last year and Gato ran over, checked it out and told us what is was all about. Can't be that a waiter and tour guide all in one!
Hard to believe you can eat such good seafood and have good drinks for less than $40 Canadian a couple. Mario, our waiter, was very attentive and spot on with his recommendations. We started with ceviche, aguachiles, shrimp cocktail and shrimp pies, all delicious and freshly made. Mario suggested mixed plates of shrimp so we tried 4 kinds. Liked all of them! Then fish, also good, although I was disappointed in the cilantro sauce. Drinks were great - pina colada, margarita, and mango margaritas (the best). Mario convinced us to end this great experience with kahlua and cream! Looking forward to going back next week
All you can eat and drink for an exceptional price of about $19.00 canandian. We enjoyed various dishes of shrimp (cilantro, garlic, coconut) and our waiter suggested the crab which was superb!
