The Prego Lady - Mbombela

The absolutely best pregos everywhere. The humble food trailer from São offers the best street food and the best peri period sauce. Owners operated, the service is warm and friendly. The Prego has a generous amount of meat, and the Porra chips is also really good.

This is a stop you can't miss. This is delicious pregos with aromas from mild to crazy California reaper.

This place is a hidden gem when I write this review. I couldn't see them on arrival, but they're in the Chicken Coop store at the current time. Your pregos are FANTASTIC. They are generously cut and the meat is well made and good tasting. The staff is very friendly. I'll be back tomorrow!

Local, not too secret, secret! Listen carefully, this is important! Sao's Pregos are arguably the best fast food you will EVER eat! Her piri piri is HOT so order with caution. I have been frequenting her bright yellow caravan/wheelless mini food truck since I arrived in South Africa 16 years ago and she has never failed to deliver on smack you in the face flavour. A medium Prego is what you need! Sao has other things on the menu like boerrie rolls, Viennas and chicken Pregos...but you are there from the beaten flat and marinaded beef!! Tell her I sent you, you will not be disappointed...promise!
