Our party tried the shrimps, redfish with etoufee chicken strips. We were all very happy. The waiter was great. The only drawback was the super long waiting lack of area to wait for so many people. Testament how popular the food is. In any case, would go back there!
We had a wonderful dinner here. My husband had a steak he said was tender and tasty. I had the coconut yarn that was the best I ever had. That says a lot since we lived in North Carolina. The staff was wonderfully attentive, but not excessive. We met the owner who took the time to talk to us. It was a very beautiful experience.
The interior is like a Backwoods Angel Lodge. The variety of fish and seafood is huge. The portions are generous. The Sangria was delicious and huge. The pecan trout was delicious and probably weighed over a pound. The Po Boy oyster sandwich reminded us of what we order in Florida. The Tilapia Orleans was delicious. The prices were reasonable.
A two-hour waiting time at Texas Roadhouse found us looking for different options in the area. Developed with Trapper because there was no waiting time
I had the oyster po boy and deep-fried okra. They both were excellent and good value. I most appreciated my bartender Gabe who was friendly and engaged in a nice chat after the lunch rush cleared out.
