Giacomo's - McAlester

The service was incredibly disappointing. I regret voicing my concerns about it. For over 25 years, I've been a loyal customer, but the quality has really declined. I have no desire to return, although my family enjoys the food. I chose not to leave a tip, and I felt they would have been better served by not having that server at all. We were a party of 9 with a bill of $278, which could have translated into a nice tip for a better server.

I love her chicken parmesan and her sauce!!! My only negative is that it is a bit too expensive... but we usually visit on special occasions!

Underrated. This restaurant is great! The family-run restaurant is always welcoming and has a great service. The McAlester area is known for its great Italian cuisine and this is the best. Pretty the best spaghetti, ravioli, meatballs and steak. The family style menu is perfect for special occasions and the setting builds only the character of the restaurant you snobs!

The food is excellent. The lamb and steak were both outstanding. It's consistently enjoyable every time I visit, which is about twice a year.

Went in a few months ago for lunch, food was good but atmosphere was uniquely classic to be put nicely and so quiet I could hear all the conversations around me. Went back in Saturday 11-17-12 and there was Italian music playing and the place seemed more alive. Nice touch!
