I didn’t try the food but their drink selection is fairly varied so they’ll likely have what you’re in the mood for. Overall really great hangout place, and I really appreciate them being dog-friendly. 10/10 would visit again.
Traveled to McAllen for work and was looking for a fun place to eat. Found this fun little spot and the weather was beautiful. When I arrived the staff was friendly offering me a place to sit outside. As it was a bit hot, the misting devices provided vapor to cool things off and later they turned on fire pits. Awesomeness all the way around. I ended up trying several fun drinks brewed on site and ordered Mexican corn and a custom pizza with pineapple as one of the toppings. To my surprise I ended up with a dinner date. A cat named Sunday I believe. Sunday apparently loves pineapple who knew. Told my wife I had a dinner date haha. Sunday made my Friday night. Good food, good drink, good atmosphere, and great company.
Pros: one of very few craft breweries in the RGV, and the only one open early in the week; 5-8 PM happy hour every day; many food options; very Insta-photogenic. Cons: the beer is mediocre (IPAs not hoppy, stouts not roasty); understaffed hard to keep up; salmon tostadas were 'fishy '.
This is hands down the best microbrewery in RGV. The beers are unique, interesting and well done. The food is delicious. 2 thumbs
Great service, pretty decent craft beer. The food menu looks awesome as well.
