Cowboy Chicken - McAllen

One of my absolute favorite lunch / dinner spots I always forget, and I don't know why (probably location). The chicken is always amazing and not dry. My favorite page is the framed spinach (seasonal), but they have many other options as well. If you are not a skin eater, I recommend you try the skin on this chicken. It is so delicious and even its crispy (exception can soften it). If you haven't been here yet, you have to go!

Clean surroundings feel comfortable for the furnishings. People here were really nice. The food was excellent and the meal came with several pages. Everything was fresh.

The chicken is so delicious and my favorite thing about cowboy chicken is all delicious pages. I enjoy the green beans, Mexican corn, Mac and cheese and broccoli. Definitely recommend and I absolutely love them still offer kurbside pickup with a smile.

Very good portions and very nice people. I ate with my sister and didn't know they were closed. They didn't kick us out or tell us they were closed, but they were asked if we needed something else like a refill so we can enjoy our food. It'll come back more often.

The chicken of course is their specialty, can't go wrong. Even the salads are great tasting and filling. This time around I tried the brisket tacos. I was impressed, they were better then I thought. The meat was good, but not if you're looking for that 12 hour smokey flavor. Aside from that anything you get here, obviously with chicken, is going to please.
