Don Pepe's - McAllen

The ambiance was pleasant, and the meal was satisfying. We began with chips and queso, which were enjoyable. The T-bone steak, while on the thinner side, was very delicious. The ribeye was both tender and juicy, and the red snapper was packed with flavor. The vegetables were also tasty, and everyone enjoyed their meals.

I initially went to the bar, but there was a party happening there. I'm actually glad it worked out that way because I probably wouldn't have ordered this dish at the bar. I can't recall the name, but it was three marinated quails—absolutely delicious!

My meal was exceptional. I ordered the Camarones Santa Chelo, and it was absolutely delicious. The soup was incredibly flavorful. Our waiter was excellent as well. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The ambience is very nice. This is a little more of an upscale restaurant. It?s clean and pretty inside and on outside they have a cute pond with ducks and duck food you can buy to feed them. The Service was great. The food was just ok. He ordered fajitas and it didn?t come with any garnish. I ordered the tortilla soup and wasn?t really impressed. When I finally got to the table the tortillas in the soup were already pretty soggy like it had been sitting for a bit . It?s anice place though, the food wasn?t great but it wasn?t terrible. We would go back again.

Beautiful atmosphere, solid meal. he started with chips and Queso sauce. the T-bone steak was thin and very tasty. offers and juicy ribeye also. red snapper tasteful. veggies tasty and everyone enjoyed their dishes.
