It all depends on the expectation of what $40 per person lunch should get you. We read some of the recent comments in this forum and we expected professional cooking and gratifying service. It was not worth it. Even though the personnel were courteous, theyweren't attentive or detailed focused. The explanations about the dishes were petty and we had to reach inside for them to comeoutdoors (3 times), plus for the number of tables (only us) they were serving, the kitchen took too long (over 45min). Weordered short-rib tacos, the sea bass, and the risotto with scallops. The tacos were OK, but the others were plain. The dessertpresentation saved the 2nd star.

This isn't just good food for the Valley; this is outstanding food anywhere! The picanha is so tender that you can practically chew it with your tongue, and the squid ink risotto with octopus will haunt your dreams in the best way possible. The tasting menu offers just the right portion sizes, allowing you a fighting chance to get through dessert before you admit defeat. Even more impressive than the amazing flavors is the exceptional service you receive from the moment you step inside. Roberto makes you feel like part of the family almost immediately, even before you finish your appetizer. His recommendations are spot on, and he answers every question you might have. He truly is a master of his craft! I highly recommend this place to anyone who values quality, flavor, and service over cheap options.

The food was excellent and reminded me of a restaurant my wife and I visited in Mazatlán, Mexico.

The food was amazing, but the service truly enhanced the experience. Roberto made us feel welcomed, and his suggestions for the menu were superb. Excellent food, great people. We can’t wait to come back! And if you’re a fan of Mexican wine like we are, this is the only restaurant in the Valley that carries Monte Xanic wines—a fantastic discovery!
