Winecow Argentina Steak House - McAllen

Very disappointed by this place. the place is very small with a strange smell. the eating was terrible mushroom empanadas tasted pampered, Mac cheese for my granddaughter was tasteless, the green salat saw a day old. regretted to go there.

Incredible experience. Perfect customer service. Absolutely delicious food and abundant wine selection.

The ambiance is not what you would expect from a fine dining establishment. The constantly blaring music from a loud speaker like a stand at the pulga. You can't hear yourself think. The food however is amazing. The salads are fresh. This is the best steak i have ever had in the 956. The meats are cooked to perfection. The service is excellent. The place is small and feels almost like a bar with all the bottles of wine and beer randomly placed everywhere. It feels almost like you are eating at a restaurant in Italy.

First time here. My fiancé loves wine, I love steak.She is hispanic and I’m , well u know.We were both pleasantly surprised. My ribeye was cooked to perfection and her sweet bread and cow gut who eats that?? were so tasty.We will definitely b back. Service was great.Confession: the sweetbread and cow gut was tasty. I should have taken a picture at the beginning but the only one I have is the finished sangria which was perfectly sweet. We started our dinner with empanadas, 1 beef and 1 choclo both were a great ?? flavors from Argentina. Our main course was the tenderloin steak ? it was full of flavor and picana steak was juicy, both were a delight to share. We ordered a side of asparagus and mashed potatoes a perfect side along with the salad ? with house dressing. The dinner ?️ date was a success. The intimate cozy size of the restaurant make it feel very exclusive along with great live music ??
