Lake Hope Lodge - McArthur

We stayed at Laurel Lodge for 2 nights. The lodge was clean and very large. There were 20 of us stayed and there were 8 bedrooms with 6 queen beds and 8 single beds. The kitchen was restaurant style and there were also 5 bathrooms. There was a great room upstairs and downstairs. Family hopes to go back next year.

Every time we hope at sea we have to eat a few meals at the lodge. Always great! Last night I had smoked brisket, served as a sandwich on a roasted bread, with garlic Mayo... Perfect .. tonight, I had a wood fired oven pizza, loaded with cheese, small cup pepperoni, mushrooms and peppers. also perfectly recommend the entire restaurant.

The first time here and we were very impressed. Had a really good lunch at the main restaurant. Excellent! We definitely come back for a longer stay.

This place always knocks out of the park. This visit I had the smoked brisket sandwich with one side of fries and cream of mushroom soup. The brisket was nicely carburized around the edges and melts deliciously in your mouth. The soup was surprisingly good, usually soup in restaurants is a disappointment, but this soup was great. The atmosphere and landscape is especially worth the windy ride to the mountain top location.

If you are in the area, go to Lake Hope Lodge. The food is wonderfully prepared and so delicious! We had a variety of food on the menu and everything was fabulous! Anything with smoked meats is a must try, as well as the pizza. Due to social distancing, the restaurant itself was closed. We order togo, got a pager and sat out on the patio. The tables were sanitized between guests. The view was perfect.
