Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

It was my first time at the CB in McDonough. The service was okay, I think the waitress was overwhelmed. She spilled both the coffee and water on the table in trying to rush through. The food was fair but the presentation was undesirable. The Grandmas pancakes were slopped over the plate with remanence of the batter spilled over and under the side of the plate. I ordered a Southern Fried Chicken to go for my dad to take to work because he works at night. The next morning, I asked him how he enjoyed it and his face turned sideways. He bit into the chicken, and it was saturated with oil and the bone was black. Apparently, it was cooked to hard and to long. I'm in transition to moving to McDonough from out of state and this is by far has not been a great experience. I will go to a mom-and-pop breakfast stop for me and my family.

At this visit, it was absolutely pleasant. I cannot complain. The food was great at this establishment, and the service was really good.Vegetarian options: Yes, nothing else I could say about the place at our visit. Everything was fine. Obviously parking might be a little issue because everybody is trying to get in the door. You may have to wait a little bit but they only have so many seeds so you probably will have to wait depending on what time you go.

Holy hell top notch the entire experience. Jason took care of me the GM,and the the rest of the staff was super amazingly helpful and friendly. EASTER MEAL FROM CRACKER BARREL IS WAY BETTER THAN HONEY BAKED HAM .

Went for Breakfast, we picked this place because this chain generally handles a crowd well. We were happy that we didn’t have to wait for a table. Food was good. Service was terrible. Barely warm coffee, had to ask twice for creamer, never got refills, order came out wrong. The only thing that came fast was the bill. The topper was after meal, they had a person working in the retail area asking if they can assist people. Can’t get coffee but they are ready to sell me more stuff. I tipped anyway, no one should have to work for free. No manager seen in the dining area to supervise the service.
