The Vixen - McHenry

It is what it is… The old movie theater building. We attended the Trans Infinity event and thought we were getting great seats when we opted for the balcony. Nope. We were told on the way (up the stairs) that there were no assigned seats, which we purchased. It was first come first served to very uncomfortable tall seats and tables. Huge disappointment. Absolute terrible lay out for seating. There was no one to help with seating at all. No ushers at all. Customer service was clueless.

My wife and I attended the Mitch Rossell/Lucas Matthew show this past weekend. The staff was fast and friendly, and the venue was amazing! There wasn't a bad seat in the house, and for a musical performace, the sound inside the performance area was spot on! We will happily visit again for future events!

Great theater to see the band Kashmir! My friends and I loved it! ️

The Vixen is a great place to see live music. The bands are amazing, the sound is great, and an affordable night out.
