No longer open. Made a reservation, got a text from them to confirm and showed up to a locked door.

Came to see a friend’s husband playing jazz. Love that we can listen to live music in a place and not be so loud that we can’t continue having our conversation with friends. Say at the bar and drinks were exotic if not maybe trying too hard. Friends Manhattan wasn’t up to standard. Staff was around, but this wasn’t an experience. The whole place is a vibe though. I visited here a while back and just did not have a great experience with the food. First, I ordered a fish dish, which had a very strong fish taste. I sent it back and ordered steak, which was cooked medium rare and was very grisly. I sent that back and ordered an Old Fashion, which was excellent. They are trying to come off as fine dining but are missing the mark with the food, which is the number one with fine dining. I have to say, though, that the service was excellent and the owner was quick to respond. I will definitely be back for the Old Fashion!

This place is incredible, no other place in downtown compares. But their new summer hours mean they open at 4 instead of 2 which is killing me! Hoping they get back to opening at 2pm soon. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
