Started with beer paddles crumbed olives and croquettes , yum , good beer food .taking the waiters recommendation we had a tasty braised lamb ( nice mash potato) and also their best seller the pork belly !! WOW a bit of food envy from the others that are coming back to have the pork . The lady folk enjoyed their desserts while we boys had another paddle of beers
Pork belly was so overcooked and chewy , it was difficult to swallow . The fat just could not be cut with the knife . The crackling nearly cracked the teeth . At that price we could not stop wondering how they could bring out such a bad plate of food - one could look at it and tell it's horribly overcooked . The vegetarian moussaka was almost raw potatoes , cold slices of zucchini, undercooked eggplant , all thrown on a plate with tomato sauce and 3 small pieces of feta cheese on top , priced 25$. Never seen or eaten moussaka like this before . Tasteless and horrible . The waitress was very nice , she took the plate of moussaka and brought another one . Alas that one was worse than the first , I could not eat it . Is it really that hard to cook potatoes and eggplant ?? They did not charge us for the pork and the dessert was good , only saving grace . Will think twice before going back again .
