Upon arriving in McMinnville, we were hungry and unfamiliar with the area. Luckily, we stumbled upon the Atticus Hotel while parking across the street. As we strolled around, we discovered this bar and restaurant that welcomed our dog inside to dine with us. We indulged in a delicious Dusky Goose Pinot and shared a tuna melt sandwich, which was surprisingly fantastic with its lemon, capers, albacore tuna, Gruyère cheese, and fresh dill on a toasted baguette. The service was excellent, with friendly employees and owners, as well as some furry friends. We plan to return for **** Mary's and brunch on our wine country trip. If you're in McMinnville, be sure to visit this place!
I had breakfast at this restaurant in a very casual setting, but the food was amazing. I ordered the chilaquiles and they were fantastic. My only feedback is that I prefer being served while sitting down rather than ordering at the counter, but the quality of the food made up for it.
We stopped in for drinks and snacks on a Sunday evening and would go back. The location was conveniently located for us, and there aren't many restaurants open on Sundays in McMinnville. That being said we were very pleasantly surprised by the crispy Brussels with shaved egg which we would 100% order again. The shrimp cocktail was average, and needed to have been deveined properly. Drinks were reasonable (wine and cocktail) and we finished with cinnamon sugar donut holes with a side of chocolate and sprinkles. The presentation of the dessert left a little to be desired, but the portion sizes were good and food was fresh.
Quality food, interesting wine list, a little short-staffed tonight.
