North Fifth Street Diner

The diner serves excellent food, and the staff was friendly and attentive.

It's not extravagant, but the food is good and has a comforting, home-cooked feel, all at reasonable prices.

My husband and I are regulars and have been coming here for about 4 years now. The waitresses are fantastic. The food is great and reasonably priced. I've had everything on the menu at least once. I highly recommend the Tex Mex bowl or the canoli stuffed french toast for breakfast, and any of the burritos or chicken wraps for lunch. I've never had to return a plate or wait too long for food, even if they're busy.

It's a lovely little spot with tasty food at very reasonable prices. I enjoyed the cream of crab soup and the chef salad. Regarding parking, there’s a small parking lot, but finding a spot on the street is easy.

I place Togo orders and the lady has been so kind and you can hear her smile. A beacon egg and cheese croissant, I was expecting a small sandwich but it was HUGE! The size of my hand! I loved the diner vibes, my favorite part was the wall of personal coffee mugs instead of lame plain cups. I think they collect them, a nice touch. Would recommend this place to anyone for that hometown vibe and old times service with a personal touch.
