Bear Creek Lodge - Mead

Excellent crew running the tubing, fun, patient and kind with my 4 year old and even allowed a few extra runs. For those who complain about the service, I feel that service is reflective of attitude shown, think on that. Be kind, get kind in return. Anyone who complains a tubing hill is bumpy, what were you expecting? Get real.We had a blast and will be back!

Had a giant group scheduled and the old man double booked, was super rude about it said we can go to silver. We had about 50 people that showed up that had to drive all the way down the hill. Place is not ran well.

Absolutely wonderful. Great mom and pop owner ran facility. Lots of fun. Friendly kids (staff) beautiful location. Thanks for the memories. You all ROCK!

Music on the hill was too loud and too mature for young kids, like way too loud you couldn't hear the instructions from the kid at the bottom of the hill. Strong weed smell at some points too.The tubing was fun but over priced for what it was.Beer had black floaties in it like the keg lines were dirty.There was just clutter all over the dining room, an old computer printer on our table for example.This place has the potential to be really cool under the right management.I don't think we'll be back. Clean the damn keg lines at least, gross.

Secondly, the tubes themselves were not great. There are two types available: fast tubes with hard bottoms and slower ones with soft bottoms. Unfortunately, only about five of them are suitable for a good ride, while the rest are so slow that they barely make it three-quarters of the way down the hill. The experience could have been much more enjoyable if all the tubes performed better. Moreover, they don’t rotate the tubes, so if you want a decent one, you need to arrive early for your time slot. I don't think you should have to arrive early just to secure a good tube, but that's the reality. Lastly, the owner was rude and unhelpful, and the lodge itself was in poor condition and seemed poorly maintained. Overall, I would advise against wasting your money here.
