The Red Door - Meaford

Burgers are unique, homemade, absolutely flavourful delicious. Enjoyed the staff, and the basic comfortable decor. Felt at ease chatting with other customers as each of us had come from other places, enjoying the scenery on this early fall day. Looking forward to returning to try the next tasty meal. Cheers!

October 3rd, 2023….Eighteen hungry women asked if they could look after us, and in no time the tables were pushed together and drinks ordered. We were able to accomplish an important business meeting while our individual food choices were prepared, and the food was delicious. Prices were very reasonable and we highly recommend the red door. Thank you for your friendly service.

Most of the food was great, with the exception of their Caesar salad that night. The meat fell off the ribs, the fries were crisp, but the salad was wilty and portioned much smaller than the rest of the meal.This place seems to be really popular and they could have used an extra person waiting on the tables.Cell reception on Roger's Network is terrible in and around the building. Good, if you don't want to be disturbed during your meal. It's not so good if you are trying to call the wife to change her takeout order.

Do not waste your time. Went on a sunday evening. Seems only locals get some what decent service? Pretty much were ignored the whole time we were there. Wings were on special and pretty good, would have ordered more if the waitress had come around at all. Ended up leaving and getting a pizza…… also on the way out went to the bathroom and to get there you walk by the kitchen. Disgusting is all I can say. Please avoid.

Do not stop here if you have kids- a kids Mac and cheese was $12 (plus tax and tip) and did not include a side or drink, and the portion was literally a handful of pasta, insultingly small. If it came with bacon or lobster I 'd understand but it is literally plain pasta with butter and flour. I cannot come back here (I live in the area) with my kids because of the price gouging.I had 2 kids order so the total for 2 tiny, tiny kids bowls of plain pasta with no drink or dessert or side included was $30 including tax and tip.... see the photos if you don 't believe me.Would consider returning if kids meals were not insulting and I knew for $12 a kid they could leave not upset and still hungry.My burger was $16 for a huge slab of meat with fries as a side. This means the kids meal is over priced with no real justification based on the other prices on the menu.The server and the cook (a woman and man) were both excellent and very friendly and helpful. This review in no way is directed at them, but at the management of this restaurant.
