Window on the rock, a real Piedmontese betola environment, we fell into the history of the susa valley kitchen with some wise escapes outside the door. There are so many courses I miss. Mixed sliced, the gracious soup (bread, broth, cabbage and cheese,) the caiettes (only called gnocchi is a crime,) tuna calf, napkin ravioli, hot sunrise robiola with hazelnuts. The eye was bigger than my stomach.
Prima di arrivare al centro di Susa, abbiamo scelto di fermarci per pranzo. Dopo aver visto le recensioni positive, siamo entrati senza pensarci due volte. L'ambiente era subito molto accogliente, proprio come i proprietari. Tuttavia, non si può pretendere di pagare 25 euro a persona per un antipasto e un primo, soprattutto se l'antipasto non era molto abbondante: un pezzettino di formaggio, un assaggio di crema di peperoni e un'insalata russa che nemmeno ho toccato. E poi mi fanno pagare 3 euro per l'acqua, che nemmeno era in bottiglia ma dal rubinetto. Boh.
