Hursey's -b-q - Mebane

Absolutely great. I used to go to graham because that it closer but they are rude and never get orders right, leave you standing without taking your order while they think doing other things, must be more important than customers. But Mebane, takes orders gets it out and food is right and hot... Just wonderful place to go. Amazing job....

Mebane location... sucks!!!! Ordered 2 chuck wagons and one bbq sanchwich came home with 4 chicken sandwiches wtf????????? Will never get my business again!!!!

This restaurant is pretty average. The chopped pork lacks flavor, so you have to cover it with their bbq sauce, which is more like a Chinese duck sauce than a traditional vinegar-based one. The mac and cheese was also bland. The hush puppies and potato salad were decent. The staff at the front were friendly and chatty.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The pulled pork was cold, the chicken was overcooked, and there was very little left. It was not worth serving to any customer. On a positive note, the staff was very polite.

This was my first and last visit to this restaurant. I waited for 30 minutes for my order only to find out it had been ready the entire time. The restaurant was dirty and the service was poor. The person at the counter acted as if they were doing me a favor, but they seemed more like an entitled child. Across the street, Smithfield Chicken and BBQ provides better service and care for their customers. Hursey's has some maturing to do.
