This place is a little tricky to fine as its off the main street but the burgers does not disappoint. Living in NYC a burger has high standards and these burgers here do not let me down. I love the live music that play old...rock on a Sunday afternoon. The menu is simple and the service is quick. Great choice if you in the mood for a burger and is just chilling. On Sunday Avenue partially closes down so there are plenty of people. This place is located just behind the super market off the avenue.
My husband and I have gone to this place more than once. This place comes close to serving good hamburgers os similar quality of those from back home in the US. We both love their blue cheese burger, and the French fries are really amazing....They are constantly good, so we can recommend this place for a sit down burger fix. Good prices, good service. It's a nice place. We also like the her Burger in El Tesoro Mall.
The burgers here are good. But the service is shocking. The waitress was rude, clearly unhappy in her job and neglected to tell us that we would receive crisps not fries with our meal when we specifically asked for fries when we asked if...we could swap the crisps they said no. They then brought us over some fries which we thought was a kind gesture but nope they were on the bill. At the end the waitress didn't bring us back our change and carried on chatting to other workers standing around serving other people so after waiting a good ten minutes we had to ask for it I'm presuming she thought she deserved a tip she did not. It's a shame as a business like this would do well with tourists. If they sort out the bad staff this would be a great place to eat!
Chef Burger has perfected the art of burger, they have a decent menu, not 300 combinations, fries in 4 types and few good appetizers. The basic cheese and bacon is very good (my companion ordered) and I ordered the Philadelphia (Artisanal bread, 150 grams patty,...lettuce, caramelized onions), the patty is not the largest but it's very good meat, done to perfection, I noticed since I ordered medium and my companion well done, they were well cooked. For fries you can order rustic, regular fries and now American Fries (Fries, cheddar, tomatoes, bacon, green onion, sour cream), I love the rustic ones, from potatoes, not yellow McDs puree. For Drink I ordered passion fruit soda, it's made on premises, seltzer and fresh passion, was really good, worth try it. Beer is not crazy expensive, about $1-$1.5. Ambiance is nice, it's on a side street with lots of high trees, their own garden, some tables inside, some out but the general ambiance is nice, clean restrooms, the service is good, fast and friendly, you can tell they have good training, that even being a fast food restaurant has one of the best servers in town. Price is about $7 for burger, fries and sodas for a very good one, For comparison purposes, way better than Ruby Tuesday.
