Denny's - Medicine Hat

We used to frequent this restaurant because the food and service were quite good. However, in the past six months, the quality has severely declined, making it no longer worth the price. The tables had generic ketchup, and the food tasted like it came from a no-name brand. My breakfast sausage was served undercooked, with one side completely raw, and the bacon "strips" were overly salty and unappetizing. The photo accurately reflected how the food was presented, and given the price, this is simply unacceptable. The eggs were also served cold. While our waitress was very pleasant and attentive, even providing a "fresh" plate after I mentioned the food quality, it still arrived with the same issues. This isn’t a reflection on her service, but rather on the food itself. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning anytime soon due to the lack of quality in the meals.

The food was outstanding when I was the one cooking it. It seems that management only operates effectively when Randall is around. Unfortunately, there aren’t many capable staff members. Having worked here in the past, it’s disheartening to see the downfall of this place. I put my heart into this establishment, but I felt underappreciated. The management really needs to make some changes. If you decide to visit, I wish you the best of luck.

Our server was exceptional and very attentive. We were quickly seated in a booth as soon as we arrived. The breakfast was delightful and made exactly to our specifications; I specifically requested crispy bacon, and it was perfect. Our server, Michelle, really stood out in making us feel welcomed!

We encountered a few problems with our order at the restaurant, particularly with the portion sizes, which were quite small. The pancakes had a texture and taste similar to cardboard. My wife was initially served the wrong dish, but the staff did correct that mistake. I ordered the "Moons Over My Hammy," which our server explained would have chopped ham mixed into the eggs. However, what I received was eggs with ham laid on top—one side had no cheese at all, and the other had just a small piece of ham. On a positive note, I must commend our server; they were truly outstanding.

The breakfast at Denny's was truly amazing! It included everything you would expect from this restaurant. Although the toast was slightly overcooked for our taste, they promptly replaced it with fresh toast, delivered with a smile! Our waitress was both efficient and friendly, always wearing a smile. I especially loved the poutine with hollandaise; it was a creative twist for breakfast. The Grand Slam also satisfied all my cravings for the perfect morning meal.
