Joey's Restaurants - Medicine Hat

They serve real Cod. Not this frozen packaged fish you get at other restaurants here in Medicine Hat. For that AAA. There was only the one waitress working, so she was working pretty hard for a Sunday night. I thought the prices were very reasonable. But I think you have to come on 'All you can eat Tuesday 's or Taco Thursday 's. I will be back to try the Fish Taco 's.

This place is very dated and average in its decor, but that has little to do with the food quality of a restaurant. The food was ok, nothing special. There is not much you can do with fish and chips, and this place does a decent job of it. Fish tacos were good and there were other items on the menu that we obviously did not get to. The service was abrupt and not the most inviting. They did rectify an issue we had very quickly and apologized. If you want standard fish and chips, this is as good as it likely gets.
