Orange Julius - Medicine Hat

I am a huge Julius fan! I go out of my way to get one and this place is worth finding and ordering from!

My wife and I stopped here after my chemo. It is located in the Medicine Hat mall. I ordered a wild berry? Or it might have been called three berry. My wife and I found it fantastic, not too sugary. Just right. Perfect for the stomach. It is less expensive then Booster Juice. Which is probably its only competition in Medicine Hat.

We had good service and good food. The staff were friendly. Because of the warm weather, I had to have ice cream.

Orange Julius seem to be the McDonald's of the smoothie world, full of sugar and just terrible for you. The smoothies are pre made and sit beneath the counter ready for unsuspecting customers. The flavors, I've tried a few, are all pretty interchangeable and have no distinct fruit flavor. Why could this be? Well from careful observation I noticed that most of the drinks are syrup based giving that syrupy, corn starch taste that we all know and love. The only fruit ive ever seen go into a blender was a banana. If you like overpriced sugary drinks you'll love this place, if you like fruit, go somewhere else!

My family love Orange Julius and this one located at the mall does not disappoint. Worth trying. Good courteous service, a good view of the mall as one settles down to enjoy the drink/meal.
