The Mezz Eatery - Medicine Hat

The food was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend trying the salmon—it's truly unforgettable! I can't believe we have such an extraordinary restaurant right here in the Hat. Everything was superb! I will definitely be telling everyone I know about this place!

Four of us dined here before heading to the theater. Three of us hadn't visited in a while, and one person was new to the restaurant. Everyone enjoyed their meal choices and the quality of the food. The service was excellent, the noise level was comfortable (it was around 500 patrons on Thursday), and the timing was spot on.

Our first visit to Hats, a top dining and nightlife destination, was truly memorable, enjoyable, satisfying, and entertaining! The brunch we had was diverse and expertly prepared by their talented sous chef, and the themed presentation was outstanding. Our server, Breanna, greatly enhanced our dining experience with her pleasant, outgoing, and friendly demeanor. The owner's quality checks demonstrated his commitment to providing fast, efficient, and friendly service, ensuring customer satisfaction. I give it a 6/5 rating for what will surely be the first of many visits to this must-try social and dining spot!

Service was warm and friendly. We sat on the second level overlooking the street. There was a large electric fan running to keep the area cool. It was a little noisy but didn't take away from our experience. The waitress was wonderful, didn't come to much or too little. When I reserved a spot I let them know it was for our 42 anniversary and they recognized it as well as catered to it by placing us away from the crowd. The food was excellent, hot and tasty! The downstairs stairs area looked wry nice, clean and inviting. Thank you for making our evening special.

We have been to the Mezz several times and have always had great food and experience. We visited this evening and when we received our bill at the end, I noticed the prices on the bill did not reflect those on the menu (menu on the website as of this evening still has the old prices listed). When I brought this to the server 's attention,she explained that there was a little increase in the prices that she neglected to mention when we arrived AND when we ordered. Yes, the server apologized, but I don 't think a $10 increase for the Short Rib is little . This was a $16.50 difference on our entire bill. Our server provided the Friends and Family discount of 15% which didn 't cover the entire difference, but appreciated nonetheless. They should not be charging the newer prices without new menus in my opinion. We will not be back.
