On day one we went to a place that had an upstairs and tried chicken, lamb and camel skewers. The next day we tried fried fish with rice. The river was way too much, and we wished we got grilled fish instead. That being said, the fish was really nicely seasoned. Would love to come back
Absolutely filthy place to eat from but the food taste is good if you can over come the atmosphere
Food was nice. Hygiene needs attention. The entire area does Barbecue and fish only. As long as you specify how you want it, its not a problem. Prices are on the low side for what you get and take cash as most dont take a card.
A number of restaurant with a common food court offering fish, chicken and weel dishes mainly barbecue and boosted. Cleanliness and hygienic standards are not so high.
If you are looking for traditional Saudi meals, this is the ideal place. I went there to breakfast and they had real local dishes such as trotter and liver and intestines!!! It's not a beautiful place and there are scattered cats over the square, but city takes care of what the locals need. For lunch I had fish and Raas Mandi, who literally put the crushed parts of the head of the sheep on rice. You need a brave heart to try, but it's wonderful. Prices are reasonable
