Pizzeria La Perla - Meersburg

The food is mediocre, prices are not outrageous, but the owner - he needs to be seen to be believed / asking a child to get up and then removing the chair, leaving the child seatless, telling us at the end of the main course that there will be no more ice cream as all is stored away and he want's to close shop - at 8pm - buying an ice cream next door, daring to eat it at our table to be asked to leave the premises for disrespectful behaviour / this man is a pearl, at one part of our conversation he told me that mentally, he is unable to follow me - I agreed and left. There are many restaurants who value your business, this one certainly not - but if you want a place with a grumpy & frustrated owner, this place is a must!

My wife and I were told to sit at another table by the owner in an unfriendly tone. We relocated, ordered, were served wine. Tables are so close to the promenade our table was bumped. Wine spilled. The owner came by and provided a towel to clean up the mess and a scowl and went to sit with his girlfriend, Our linens were soaked and not replaced. After this, no service. We were ignored. We had to bring the wet towel to te waitress-all the while the owner watches us sit with a wet tablecloth- AVOID

Spend your money somewhere else.. although a nice pizza, service was incredibly rude. The waiting staff had no manners, made it very known what they thought when we ordered a pizza to share. Couldnt even bring themselves to smile or say please and thank you. If that wasnt enough on asking for a second knife and fork they ignored the first request, then the 'manager' came over and said rudely, one pizza, one cutlery!!

It is a very nice cozy bar at the very friendly people with good recommendations. good drinks.
