Domkeller - Meißen

Great view over Meissen. There is also a cool blonde. Very friendly also for children. A good place to recover after the ascent to the Domberg and the visit to the museum. Fair prices. Friendly service. You're welcome.

After a long journey, we longed for something decoy and a good beer, and the Domkeller exceeded our expectations. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We enjoyed traditional, homemade foods that were prepared just like Mama. The beef roulade with red cabbage and wrapped closs as well as the Dresdner Sauerbraten were delicious and were perfectly rounded with a cloudy Meißner beer. The dessert, which was probably prepared according to a recipe from the grandmother, is particularly noteworthy: a spicy pudding with poppy and a caramelized layer, served with hot chocolate chicks. A true palate! The ambience of the restaurant is beautiful and invites you to stay. We were completely satisfied and will definitely come back. An absolute recommendation! The Domkeller completely convinced us. Please keep doing this!

Well-being atmosphere. Nice, friendly, attentive and courteous service that has a look at when what is needed. Very delicious food which was served quite quickly after ordering. The only point: you don't get what you ordered. For example, the mushrooms have been missed at the ordered noodles with basil umpesto and mushrooms and instead was brought with carrots and other vegetables. All in all, however, delicious and sufficient. View from the heated panoramic terrace absolutely worth seeing!

Incredibly beautiful view from the outdoor terrace over the old town with the red roofs. The 1/2 duck was super delicious.

Great restaurant on the Burgberg in Meißen right next to Albrechtsburg and the Cathedral including views of the old town of Meißen. Ambience historically sculpted and lovingly arranged with many references to Meissen. Beautiful terrace directly at Burgberg. The food offer is natural, seasonal and somewhat more expensive for meek conditions, but the ambience resembles it. We had a great waiter who always had a fleeting but ingenious spell on the lips, you were already happy to get back to the table. Children's card available. Proper waiting times, although we were a large group. We were all happy and happy to come back.
