Reggae On The River - Melaka

Best cocktails in town, very friendly staff, direct located at the river (few meters along on the riverside of the Hardrock Cafe), very good prices for huge cocktails. Also good view to the canal from the rooftop bar.

The name does not disappoint. Well actually, it is not ON the river but slightly beside it. Which is a good thing, because who wants wet feet when drinking beer? What brings me to the most important part: Beer! Lots of it! And a decent selection of snacks too. The staff is attentive and friendly. And if you are wondering whether you are at the right spot, just check the tables for dinosaurs and enjoy yourself with some reggae tones!

The ambiance is just nice. But I prefer if they at least ask if you want the cocktail to be strong. Tequila sunrise was mere orange juice n grenadine. I do mix myself. So I know my stuff. Meh. Anyways. Vibe was nice.

Was there at 5pm on a Monday and they were open. RM 63 for 5 bottles of Anchor. Not many people in the other shops and we enjoyed the time. There are fans all over the shop so it's cool everywhere. Toilet is very clean too. Only setback was smoking is allowed everywhere, but all in all, good.
