Il ristorante è veramente fantastico, il cibo è delizioso.
My Greek/Italian lady friend is moving to an apartment in Melazzo and we decided to check out a local restaurant which was highly recommended by one of her workmen. It is a nice restaurant in what is apparently an old building on a square with lots of parking space. Inside there are wine barrels, lots of bottles of wine and nice checkered table cloths. Very friendly staff, nice food. In weekends one can only eat à la carte, on weekdays they serve a 3 course menu for 12 euros. Not sure about wine an coffee being included in that price, will have to check that out once. The primo was a full plate with 4 different tasty things like vitello tomato, spinach cake, Salad Russe and a quiche. My companion is eating gluten-free so she only took vegetables because the meat portions looked too big, she said. I ate a typical Piemonte dish made of beans and pasta. It looks quite bland but it has enough taste, I just added some Parmezan and pepper. Together with an excellent bottle of Barbera d'Asti, a dessert (I ate the home made panna cotta, which is always my favorite) and coffee we paid 40 euros in total.
