We were with children and for over 45 mins our table was unattended, until we grabbed another server and asked for at least water. When the waiter came she admitted the mistake and said that she will make it up to us. That wasn’t the case in the end. Full bill, no add-ons. Our reservation was for 6:30, we walked out of the restaurant close to 9:30. Not enjoyable esp for the amount paid.
The manager, some hostess/host, bussers all called in sick so it took over 15 mins to get seated but Sebastian was an excellent server.
Food was subpar the cheese fondue wouldn’t even melt correctly. They had to redo it twice. Then the main course fondue pot got stuck to the burner and they made us get out of the booth so they could manually try to yank it off. It was just not the relaxing, romantic dinner we had hoped for on Christmas Eve. The service was slow and it was obvious our server was VERY new and quite nervous.
We eat here frequently and service and food have always been outstanding. Tonight, the hostess is not well suited for greeting people. Wasn’t at the greeting desk and waited almost 5 minutes. Wasn’t much of a greeting except to have a seat and wait, even with a reservation. On our reservation we requested a two burner table but wasn’t given one. Our server Jordan was fine. Not as outgoing as Savannah and some of the other servers we have. Food was good, mostly same as always but they substituted out the celery for cherry tomatoes. I get being out of celery, but the tomatoes didn’t work with cheese.
Wonderful. Our server, Dallas was awesome. Quality of food was very good. Overall great experience.
