Feedback gevenGreat exhibits, beautiful walking trails from the dunes to the lagoon. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Distressed turtle hatchling drop-off cooler located near the front door. Volunteers welcome.
The Barrier Island Sanctuary was really amazing. It had great facts about what is happening to Florida's beaches and turtles and how we are helping to keep the turtles safe and able to live to get to the ocean. There are many interactive things for kids and many people to play with and have fun. They have activities to do there to like making bracelets and other activities.
What an excellent educational center to visit for people of all ages, well worth a visit.
This is a fabulous hidden treasure along A1A that teaches about sea turtles in our area. I stop in every chance I get. They also host several great fundraisers! Definitely stop on your drive!
Went on a Turtle nesting tour...amazing!!! Highly recommended!
