Amiconi - Melbourne

Tightly packed tables and friendly waiters make for a celebratory atmosphere at this superb Italian restaurant. The food was superb, the Barramundi sublime. It was a perfect venue to celebrate a 21st birthday with mothers and daughters.

We visited for lunch and it was one of the most beautiful meals I've had in a long time. The Garlic Mushrooms were to die for and the Muscles were fresh, amazing and plentiful. Will definitely return. So good!

Amiconi has been in operation since 1961 and it is a Melbourne institution and my wife and I have dined there many times over the years.The food and service is outstanding and always has been. I think most of the patrons are mostly local people from Melbourne who just like us are returning customers.I couldn't recommend Amiconi highly enough

Incredible food and flavours with stunning service. This is a must do visit when coming to Melbourne and only a $8 ride in a Uber from the CBD. You will not leave hungry

Saturday 1st July at Amiconi, firstly you need to book, this is a must. The restaurant run two sessions, 6.00pm and 8.00pm, I suggest the latter as it gives a lot more time to enjoy your meal and soak in the atmosphere, also allows for a visit to Joe Taylors Bar just around the corner at 7 Errol Nth Melbourne .The food was excellent, Risotto to Beef Cheeks to Marinara, it doesn't matter is all great.The service is first class attached with great atmosphere, also to add to this Amiconi was where some under Belly scene's were shot for the TV program.
