Bean Republic on Collins - Melbourne

Although the service isn't wonderful, they do make good hot coffee. They have a lovely area to sit if you feel so inclined. They are always busy.

Enjoyed a fresh chicken and avocado roll with a coffee for lunch at Bean Republic on a recent business trip to Melbourne. The cafe has a dedicated seating in an alcove of the food court, which provides a nice alternative to trying to find a table in the main area. A good place to relax. I was dying for a caffeine hit at mid afternoon and was at the Sofitel. Busy and bustling with activity whenever I walk past, I thought I give it a go. Coffee was smooth and blend was nice. Will be back for others as their food menu and what was on display was tempting.

Perfect place to grab a morning coffee or muffin, or a sandwich for lunch. Great location for guests at the Sofitel.

I'd give this place a solid 3.75 The food was good, but overpriced for what it is in my humble opinion Some of it was a bit salty for my palette.
