Ciao Pizza Napoli - Melbourne

The atmosphere at this restaurant is absolutely fantastic, and the staff is extremely friendly. It's never too crowded, which makes it the perfect place to enjoy delicious food and good conversation. I tried the prawn and crab pizza, and it was delicious with real crab meat! The cheese platter was a perfect way to end the meal, paired with a nice glass of wine. I make sure to visit this restaurant every year with a friend from Brisbane, and I am always impressed by the experience.

Our family used to regularly visit Pizza Napoli on Russell St. in Melbourne forty years ago when we would come from Geelong. This restaurant, owned by the same family, continues the tradition of serving great pizzas. The Classic Pizza Capriciosa still has generous toppings and a perfect base, bringing back wonderful memories for us. Although the original owner has retired, his son is keeping the spirit of the restaurant alive.

I never get tired of dining at this restaurant. The service is top-notch, the food is consistently outstanding, and the decor has a timeless charm. Whether you're meeting friends for a quick catch-up or having a casual business lunch, I highly recommend this place.

Brilliant friendly service. Heaters positioned well for sitting outside in winter. Good was great, we got 4 pizzas, 1 gnocchi and 1 kangaroo steak. Would recommend.

We ended up going with the special which was...Kansas City-style BBQ ribs with jalapeno creamed corn, mashed potatoes cole slaw. Not what you'd expect at an Italian place, but kudos to Ciao for their sense of adventure. This was a magical plate of food, once again everything was seasoned just right, and I'll be dreaming about those ribs for a long time.
