Danny's Burgers - Melbourne

A very good experience. Nice double beef burger, very large but easily managed due to the quality of the burger build! I will be back! Love the pickles!

Danny’s is an institution and we consider ourselves lucky to live a short walk away. Built to cater for GIs during threat it has been in operation since then. A blast from the past! Hamburgers that look, smell and taste like an old fashioned hamburgers!...And while you’re waiting have a steamed dimmy(dim sim)! The hamburger with the lot is like the 1960s job from the local fish and chip shop. You can build your own burger with pineapple, beetroot ... whatever! The steak sandwiches are awesome and you can get them gluten free! Eat-in at the 1950s bar or take away! Whatever you choose you’ll love it. Had a visitor last week who said he hadn’t had a hamburger this good in 20 years. It reminded him of his local! My son comes home from San Fransico and goes to Danny’s for his first meal You’ll love this true Australian authentic 1960s hamburgers!

Danny 's claims to have cooked the Best burgers in Melbourne since 1945. This might very well be true. In any case if you 're in the area, a traditional Danny 's burger is certainly far better that any of the other possible trendy, hipster burger offerings elsewhere....Enjoy the vibe and enjoy the burger!
