El Sabor - Melbourne

I was Visiting Melbourne from California where Mexican food is plentiful and where my family makes some of the best that I've ever had.

Melbourne has lots of good Mexican restaurants, however, this one has been my favourite so far, it is under new management.

I was looking for that "Hook Line and Sinker" experience. Awesome Melbourne's Winter evening .

Hidden away in plain sight this is a really good Mexican restaurant that avoids the cliches. Staff know what they are advising. Service was fast even on a busier than usual Tuesday. The chef is highly credentialed and there seems to be a group of passionate foodies involved. Loved it. Take suggestions for the drinks and I think you will be well rewarded.

The Mexican was pretty good, prices were not too bad either. Staff were friendly but service was a little slow even though not too busy. The corn chips were delicious and our mains not too bad tho mine was a little on colder side. The flan for dessert also wasn't the best. Overall i would return as feel most food was pretty good
