Entrecôte - Melbourne

We enjoyed a pre theatre meal. The oysters were fresh, the cocktails well mixed and the service was excellent.

Had dinner with our family of 7 for my husbands birthday.Amazing food, drinks & impeccable service.Various choices of entrees, mains & desserts & everyone of us was so happy.Steak was absolutely & utterly cooked to perfection.I can highly recommend this restaurant & we all look forward to dining there again.It was $80 per person & considering what we had we all thought it was great value.

It is a strange formula to seek to emulate the worst aspects of a poor Parisian restaurant. The meat was poor, stringy, and too salty. Service was bad and rude.

I was looking for a place that serves grass fed beef as my friend visiting from overseas is histamine intolerant and I came across this restaurant. My friend said their steak is better than Hereford Beefstouw. We both had the baguette.We came on a Monday night and it's pretty much empty. I tried to book on their website but it kepy coming up with an error and they advised that it's because we can't book online for dinner on the same day. I think they should update their website to say this.Unfortunately, my friend did have a reaction after having the baguette and although she thinks it might be the beef, i reckon it's because of the yeast in the baguette.Service: 4/5Baguette: 4/5Escargot: 4/5Price: 2/5Overall: 3.5/5

I asked for a table, but was told that the entire evening was fully booked. I went back to my hotel and asked them to call, and was able to secure a free table within 30 minutes. The food was average, nothing special. The service was completely uninspired and unfriendly. There was no warm welcome, no friendly words, nothing. Even the plates were placed on the table without any comment. This was the worst restaurant I visited in the city.
