Fiesta Mexican - Melbourne

The staff were really friendly but my food (beef burrito) came out cold in the middle. I alerted the staff who had the chef "make" (ie from what I could tell reheat a pre-made plate) and granted the next one was very hot, but absolutely piping hot so had to cut it into pieces and wait for quite a while for it to cool down to actually be edible. Totally appreciated this but by this time my friend had completely finished her meal. The filling really confused me - it's literally meat and hot lettuce in a tortilla absolutely covered in melted cheese. The lettuce really does just end up tasting like soft sweated cabbage. General meal lacking in any texture or excitement. For $23 I was left (like someone said below) a bit dumbfounded with what was on my plate. They have a large menu and I'm sure some of the stuff was great but I wouldn't go back for food - totally overpriced for quality. Margaritas look cool so maybe a drink stop :)

We have visited Fiesta before. Its always super busy. Reliable. Good service. Delicious nachos and food. Highly recommend their nachos, and tacos!

Dumbfounded how Trip Advisor score is so high? Visited the venue last week with a large group for a Christmas function. We were seated on two tables. Service staff seemed uninterested all night. Constantly had to ask for service especially with our drinks. The sangria was good but couldn't taste much alcohol. We ordered the $38.50 banquet. Not enough food was provided. Two servings of Nanchos was shared by 13 people! 9 pieces of calamari to share among 13 people and some dry chicken roll only 8 rolls came to the table. We then got served two extra small servings of bland rice and two small roquette/avocado salad to feed 13 people. Needless to say we only 9 servings of burritos. At this stage we clearly were peeved! We did ask for more food and yes it did arrive but clearly the staff were not happy with the request. Dessert was stale churros with chocolate mousse, which was the dish of the night, and vanilla ice cream. Clearly not enough food was served and what was served was horrible, bland and rushed. With the bill over $1400 better service and quality of food is expected from an eatery in Toorak!Would HIGHLY NOT recommend this Venue.

Wouldn't usually write a review but felt tonight warranted it.Slow service, un attentive, sloppy food.Really disappointed tonight, $98 for 2. I could have cooked a better meal at home made the sangria from scratch cleaned up and been happier. Feel ripped off and I'm from Perth.

On a sliding scale, the reasons to go to fiesta again was the range of tequilas and fun margaritas on offer. Next down was the food. Plentiful and tasty. Last and by all means least was service. Pleasant but slow to act staff even when there were only a handful of us there meant cluttered tables, waiting when there appeared no reason too and the ever frustrating wait for the bill. I will try somewhere else for a margarita infusion next time. A pity, the problem requires a change in attitude only.
