My first choice were the Beehive Waffles which was loaded with different components, honey comb shaped waffles, meringues shaped like beehives, freeze dried orange slices, chocolate soil, corn flakes, yuzu curd, grilled lemon, popping boba and a tiny jar of honey from Melbourne City Rooftop Honey. Although the waffles appear small in photos they're actually rather decent-sized when you take into account all the sides. The waffle itself had a thin crispy outer, with a super fluffy inner. The dish was a fusion of sweet, tangy and sour. By the third waffle it did get too sweet for me!
Love the revamp and change here at park street. The food was colourful, fun and delicious. There was roughly a 30 minute wait for the food, however I appreciated the friendly staff updating me on the progress of the meal.<br/ <br/ Staff were super friendly, accommodating and attentive<br/ <br/ Would definitely return to try the rest of the menu.<br/ <br/ Great spot for young children with the outdoor park and shelf of books and toys to entertain.
Speaking of the menu, Park St Dining offers an array of fantastic coffees, including unique options like beetroot and taro lattes using Code Black coffee. Our choice of the pork belly Benedict was beautifully presented and delicious. The tender pork with crispy skin, roasted and pickled onions, and perfectly poached eggs made for a truly unforgettable dish. The potato hash base was flavorful and had a great texture. For dessert, we indulged in the stunning Pitaya panna cotta, a colorful and refreshing treat that was generously portioned. The dish was perfectly balanced and bursting with freshness. We also tried the Instagram-worthy beehive waffles, which were unlike any waffles we had tasted before. Light, crispy, and infused with honey and lemon flavors, this dish was a true masterpiece with its multitude of complementary elements. Overall, our experience at Park St Dining was fantastic, with innovative dishes, a lively atmosphere, and excellent service. The bustling cafe on a weekday morning is a testament to its popularity, and it's clear why. Although not in our neighborhood, this cafe is definitely worth the trip for anyone looking to experience exceptional food in a fun and creative setting.
The menu at Park St Dining reflects its connection to The Glass Den, featuring a layout that includes a selection of benedicts, all-day breakfast options, and sweet treats. During our visit with a group, we sampled a variety of dishes, including…
This is a big cafe with a large courtyard, perfect for a hot summer day. <br/ <br/ I ordered a strong skinny latte which had a good flavour, a nice amount of froth and it wasn’t too hot. Yummo lol<br/ <br/ Food wise I ordered Ocean Trout w wilted greens; poached egg, shiitake broth and fried shallots. The ocean trout was cooked perfectly. It was so tasty, and it just melted when I ate it. <br/ <br/ The broth was delicious, so much so I had it all. This was a light dish, bursting with flavour, well seasoned and a total treat.<br/ <br/ My friend ordered a crispy pork belly bun, pickles, fermented green chilli and coriander. This burger had a large piece of crispy pork belly, the bun was good and the burger was smashed in no time lol<br/ <br/ This place is definitely worth a visit. It’s right next to a busy push bike track so if you don’t want to drive although parking is plentiful, maybe you could ride? <br/ Or tram it? Or walk hahaha <br/ <br/ Thanks to the owners for inviting us.
