In fact, this place will become a regular haunt.Great dishes.... the crab croquettes, the wagyu tataki, the tuna carpaccio, the spinach & rocket salad, the fried rice and the Kara-age chicken. What a gem! Sensational!
Went here on the off chance and what a delightful experience. The food was delicious and very tasty, the service was good and luckily we got seated straight away on a busy Friday night. Would definitely go back.
Always on the hunt for something special to eat, I found this place recommended by urbanlist. To be honest, I found that I had walked past this place so many times without even knowing! With a very intimate feel and being able to see the chefs at work, I would say to book in advance. I don't see groups of 8+ being able to be accommodated though! Even though we had no booking, the 3 of us were able to get a table within 10 minutes. Oh, to go to dinner on a Wednesday night! My cousins both ordered the katsu curry, which they are known for! Would recommend! I got the katsu-don with miso. Would give mine a pass. We also did order drinks of plum wine and a drink with grapefruit, which you had to squeeze yourself. Lovely dinner. Would I go there again? Maybe for a date and a little more dress up, yes!

Just amazing! Such a small place but all works so well! We went for lunch and had a really great time. Pork is incredible with some nice cold asahi! Little expensive but totally worth it! A must go in Melbourne!
