I can't imagine them having more than 1 customer with that service!
If staying at the hotel, or even if you are not, pop in for a drink in a nice relaxing environment with comfy tub chairs. However I am not a fan of ordering drinks online not when there are 3 people behind the bar. Something about ordering drinks or food through your phone when you are dining in cheapens the experience for me. However aside from that you will find the usual selection of drinks, for us prosecco and rum and at the moment they have a frozen gin concoction promotion where you can add all sorts of extras to your drink. They even bring out to you a nice little bowl of nuts.
The entre came out same time at mains. We had the express lunch but it wasn't express! The satay sauce was yum but the meat was over cooked. The Penne with Salmon...could not find any Salmon. Butter Chicken was lovely, salt and pepper calamari was good.
Chefs must not know how to cook properly because they don't know the difference between medium rare and well done when it comes to steak. Aswell as my partner waiting for her dish an additional 30 minutes after mine was served. I suggest using a brine for your chicken breast and roasting it before serving because that was also as dry as a nuns nasty. Drinks were really nice though.
Christmas in July (But not really . We received an Email promoting Xmas in July at Harry’s bar and restaurant in the Stamford plaza in Melbourne so booked for two and duly turned up at the venue and were greeted and seated at 12 noon , The first thing we noticed were Mice scurrying under a nearby table when the waiter was notified he seemed as if he and the mice were on first name basis he did nothing . There was no Xmas type music just canned elevator music , The food in the warming trays was cold , potatoes and beans were the only vegetables on offer both cold , the promised Turkey was sliced from the delicatessen the honey glazed ham was manufactured meat the looked and tasted as if it came from Aldi. The only thing that differentiated the meal from an ordinary lunch was a few Xmas baubles on the table and the price we paid. The whole experience was a huge disappointment .
