Overall the staff were so friendly, coffee was good but the only small let down was the Eggs Benedict. It was served on a Mc muffin instead of the usual sourdough toast (which is ok but different and nothing special) the hollandaise sauce was delicious but I felt the pulled pork was a little greasy. As the dish came out looking very pretty, the bottom was oily and you can see specs of the oil on the plate, which isn’t appealing. We didn’t finish that dish but everything else was great.
'Bottomless Brunch” was an INCREDIBLE experience!<br/ If you’re one of those people who can’t decide what to order, then I encourage you to opt for the bottomless brunch experience....If you’re gonna do it, then you may as well do it right, Hunter have it down pat! You’ll thank me later <br/ <br/ “Brekkie Bruschetta” was a FAV! Roasted pumpkin, broad beans, pomegranate, cherry tomatoes, toasted pepitas turmeric coconut yoghurt on toasted multigrain! I love this place for bottomless brunch! The outdoor area is extremely large so suitable for large groups! The drinks selection is outstanding the staff are really hospitable! They are also no stingy on the drinks want everyone to have a good time!
My regular work coffee joint — wonderful iced lattes. Friendly staff, fast service and not super busy so you can enjoy your meal or coffee away from the hustle and bustle.
Hunter’s Kitchen and Bar is located on St Kilda Rd, in amongst a plethora of apartment towers and business buildings, so was not particularly busy on a Saturday morning. We were invited to attend the launch of their new Bottomless Brunch menu and were to dress in a “touch of white” to celebrate. Everyone looked beautiful and the weather was perfect as we dined in their huge outdoor area, out the front. We got to sample one of every dish off the menu, including the breakfast bruschetta, Dr Marty’s french toast crumpets, beef benedict, big brekky and salmon omelette. We were also treated to unlimited coffees and cocktails what fun!My stand out dishes were definitely the beef benedict and the big breakfast. The bacon on the big brekky had a delicious smokey flavour and the chipolata sausages were cooked perfectly. The “creamy” scramble was exactly that and tasted nice and buttery. I never make my scrambled eggs like that at home, so it was nice to have something a bit lush when out for brunch. The cocktails were delicious and I had multiple glasses of the watermelon mimosa definitely a crowd favourite. They were also serving the “Vodka Bull frog”, which had red bull in it, which I wasn’t mad keen on for breakfast, but they had a gorgeous blue colour. The mocktails were also lovely and I finished the meal off with a virgin mojito in a Tiki glass. The food is delicious, the venue is ideal and I highly recommend visiting this “out of the way” venue before everyone else cottons on. Thanks for having us, Hunters :
