Konbu Japanese Cuisine - Melbourne

The food at this restaurant is amazing and the wait staff is lovely. This is my favorite place to go for Japanese cuisine.

We had a fantastic dinner at Konbu. The service and food were outstanding. The fact that it's BYO was a great bonus. We will definitely be returning.

I highly recommend this restaurant! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. It's great for large groups. The food was incredible and not like your typical Japanese restaurant. The sauces and tempura were delicious, especially the soft shell crab and salmon tataki, beef tataki, and mushroom udon. I even recommended it to my friend's family and they loved it as well. I will definitely be returning!

I'm very taken with the tempura they put up here...its light...delicate...crispy...and always well cooked.  I would recommend this place if you enjoy Japanese food...worth a visit..

With a contemporary spin on traditional dishes, Konbu has not only achieved new heights, but also, remains true to it’s Japanese roots. The minimalistic and simple concepts are subtle, but, strongly entwined through the restaurant and its food. Their menu was selectively curated to serve a finite number of dishes, and to do them extremely well.
