L atelier de Monsieur truffe

I've heard so much about this place and was impressed from the reviews but unfortunately, i wasn't impressed with the service.We arrived at noon and was happy to wait 20 min for table as the food looked great! We waited 45 min, for a member of staff to realise, that we still had not revived our eggs on toast. A further 20min is pretty slack, but all least the food was nice

We attended a wedding function here. The food was very healthy and consisted of plates of meat, vegetables, salads and even saganaki. The restaurant had a good selection of alcoholic drinks and was very well equipped for the wedding we attended.

I think this place is a bit underrated. Not much review (even TripAdvisor didn't have any picture yet when I wrote this :D). I understand that Melbourne have lots of options for those who love hot chocolate to warm up cold day, start from Chokolait Hub, Koko Black, Theobroma Chocolate, San Churro and many more. But this small cafe has its own special recipes. For an introduction, you should try their hot chocolate (off course!), the cup the spoon and surely the content will make you smile. If chocolate is not your cup of tea, you can try their wide range of, well, tea. They have various kinds of tea, most of I never heard of but curious to try. On the other hand if you want to get serious about chocolate they also offer classes on chocolate appreciation by appointment.

The cafe is also a chocolate factory, so you can guess that their specialty is making hot chocolates. They use a variety of chocolate types, including chilli hot chocolate and a range of single-origin varieties. My favourite is the Ebene 82% dark chocolate. They also do innovative breakfasts, like truffled eggs with diced potato cooked in jars. Their food is a little more expensive than regular cafe fare, but it's definitely worth it.
