The Pad Thai was the worst I have ever had, even compared to other countries. It was dry, the noodles were burnt, the chicken was undercooked, and it was poorly seasoned. I will never be returning to this place. I highly recommend avoiding it.
The food is good and is typical of Australian Thai cuisine. This time the staff were very busy and we finished up with a gluten dish. If you need to avoid gluten you should probably not go...
I absolutely adore this restaurant! I recently visited for a quick takeaway and was impressed by the speedy, friendly service and the incredibly delicious food. My boyfriend and I both ordered our favorite dish, the green curry - one spicy for him and one mild for me - and we were both blown away by the flavors. We also tried the vegetarian spring rolls as an appetizer, which were also fantastic. This was my second visit to Lai Thai, as I had previously dined in the restaurant. The staff were attentive without being overbearing, and I highly recommend Lai Thai to anyone looking for a great dining experience.
The food was great. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere was nice and relaxing. The price was about right for a semi-casual restaurant.
After being away for a while, it was great to dine at this restaurant again recently. We were greeted warmly by the owner, who treated us like old friends, even though he probably didn't recognize us. He was attentive and eager to please, and he certainly succeeded in doing so. The food was exceptional as well, but our only mistake was ordering too many noodle and rice dishes for just three people, resulting in a surplus of food. It was a pleasant surprise to receive generous portions, and we hope this doesn't change. Every dish we tried was delicious, and we won't wait as long until our next visit.
