Great food.. Had a nice family meal before a show good value.
We ordered the pre- theatre dinner, was not much variety for vegetarians, for entrée I had the tomato soup and it was very spicy, the sister ordered the pork belly which she enjoyed, for mains all I could order was the vegetarian tasting plate and so did my sister, well the bun for the mini burger must have been made in the stone age it was very hard and disgusting, the pasta not very flavoursome, the chick pea concoction very bland and the fritters no flavour whatsoever. The sides were bad.
My husband's steak was over cooked and barely edible. Pumpkin was nice. My steak was nice. Chips were completely inedible. Tasted like they had been fried 2x. My desert, an apple pie the pies in the frozen isle at the supermarket are likely to be of better quality. The entre pork belly was the highlight of the meal. The bill of $180 did most definitely not reflect the quality of the food. In my opinion it is on the same quality level as franchises such as TGIF.
We were disappointed we seem to sitting in a walkway even though we booked well ahead of our date. The service was slow and poor, waitresses leaning across in front of our person. Forgot one of our sides and no offer of compensation. Very noisy environment where we were.
