Mamas Meatballs - Melbourne

I have seen this kiosk for a couple of years and always thought maybe I'd try it out. I happened to be here in S. Melbourne today around lunch time and what a mistake! There is absolutely no flavour to the sauce at all. It's like nothing was added to it. The meatballs are reminiscent of Chef Boyardee. Awful. Never again.

I love this place. I wish I could eat every day but I would turn into a meatball!! So tasty. Handmade good quality food is simply the best. The prices are reasonable and the options are pretty varied considering it is a meatball place. Highly recommend grabbing a 10 pack traditional with tomato and Parmesan on risoni. Yummy.

Today i ordered 60 meatballs for our work morning tea and asked the person serving me if i could pick up the meatballs for our morning tea in 20mins. "No Problem" was the replySo i came back 20mins later to be handed 60 Cold meatballs in a bag.I asked why they were still cold, as these were for our morning teas as advised. "Because you didnt ask for hot" was the reply.Mamas meatballs actually blamed me. This is not rhe 1st time, in fact is actuallu the 3rd time i have experienced difficulties ordering from Mamas Meatballs and wouldnt bother again.They regularly are not offering parts of their menu due to lack of stock or preparation. Tasty food but continually poor service.I recommend giving this place a miss and experiencing some of the other great food and service available in South Melbourne

Fresh and delicious pasta! Unfortunately had to take off a star for the potion size.

This place is amazing! The menu is easy if you are ordering pasta, you choose your sauce, pasta, and extras.
